🍃 Cancer and other health conditions
🍃 Anxiety and life transitions
🍃 Relationship patterns and trauma.

If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, and quietly struggling behind a brave smile, you’re not alone. When fear and self-doubt keep repeating “I’m going to mess this up,” it can drain your confidence and hope. I can help you feel heard, find calm, and discover practical ways forward.

What can I help you with?
I offer counselling (online or face-to-face) for bereavement, loss, anxiety, relationship difficulties, trauma, life transitions, and patterns that leave you feeling stuck.

I specialise in supporting people who are living with cancer, going through treatment, or caring for—or grieving—a loved one with cancer. These experiences are deeply personal and can feel isolating, often affecting self-esteem, identity, and emotional well-being. Others may struggle to understand or talk about what you’re going through.

Together, we’ll navigate the emotional ups and downs at your pace. Cancer and other health issues can be an overwhelming experience – emotionally, physically, and mentally. It can stir feelings of fear, sadness, confusion, anger, or isolation, and can sometimes make it difficult to recognise yourself or connect with others in the way you once did. You may feel pressured to “stay strong” for loved ones, even while you’re struggling inside.

What is my approach?
My approach is grounded, compassionate, and centred on your individual story. There’s no expectation to have it all worked out before starting therapy. If you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or just in need of space to pause and reflect, we can begin right where you are.

My experience:
I have years of experience working with people of all ages and personal experience relating to cancer and other issues & conditions. If this speaks to you, you’re welcome to get in touch, and we can begin with a simple, no-pressure conversation.

I provide a calm, non-judgmental counselling space where you can talk openly about your thoughts, feelings, and challenges. My role is to listen with care, understand what makes your experience unique, and support you in finding new perspectives and opportunities for change.

I can help with issues, including, but not limited to:

Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Relationships, Difficulty with boundaries, Self-worth, Bereavement, Recovering from past relationships, Chronic self-doubt, Recovering from abuse, Facing change, Loss, Worry, Family issues, Perfectionism, Work-related stress, People Pleasing, Self-esteem, Motivation, Burnout, Recovering from abusive and narcissistic relationships and Personal development.

Counselling is a journey, and every step you take—no matter how small—matters. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you start; all you need to bring is yourself.

If you’re ready, we can take that first step together.

The first session is a gentle starting point where we can get to know one another and begin to explore what has brought you to therapy. It’s an opportunity for you to experience what it feels like to talk with me, ask any questions you may have, and see whether the space feels right for you.

I’ll also invite you to share what has led you to seek therapy at this point in your life and what you hope to gain from our work together. There’s no pressure to share everything straight away—we’ll move at your pace, and there’s no “right” way to begin. This session is as much about you getting a feel for the therapeutic process as it is about deciding whether I’m the right therapist for you.

You’re very welcome to ask questions at any point, whether about how I work, what therapy might involve, or anything you’re unsure about. I aim to offer a calm, open, and non-judgmental space where you can begin to feel safe, supported, and heard.

At the end of the session, if we both feel that we’re a good fit and you’d like to continue, we can arrange further sessions. There is no obligation to continue after the first meeting—it’s entirely your choice.

The first session lasts 50 minutes and is charged at my usual rate of £50.
