Personal Profile
I want to give you a grounded, down-to-earth experience of therapy with plenty of humour and humility, too! I am neurodivergent myself, so I believe that I can bring a level of understanding and compassion to a neurodiverse-affirming therapeutic style. My priority is to to help you to really develop a robust understanding of yourself, how some difficulties may have arose, and how we can address them in the here-and-now. I work with several common mental health conditions: including Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Low Self-esteem, Depression, OCD, PTSD, Panic disorder and Social anxiety disorder.
I am a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, which means that my primary model of therapy is CBT. I like to combine the theory, skills and application of CBT with a flexible, human approach.
I understand that you might be reaching out during an incredibly difficult period of your life. Or, you may have 'put off' accessing therapy previously and are considering taking 'the plunge'. Either way - it would be a privilege to be the therapist that you choose to work with. I will meet you at your pace, and we can work through it together.
