Personal Profile

I’m Rosella, a qualified integrative counsellor with practices in Sutton, Surrey, and South-West London, SW4 and SW19. As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I follow their Ethical Framework, ensuring you receive the highest level of professional and confidential care.

Reaching out for help is a courageous decision. We all face unique life challenges, and seeking therapy can reflect feelings such as anxiety, confusion, burnout, or inadequacy. I would be honoured to listen to your story, help you navigate the complexities of life, and support you in achieving a more fulfilled and balanced life. In our sessions, we will work together to reshape how you think, feel, and act, aligning your actions with your true self and overall well-being.

I am passionate about helping individuals manage life’s difficulties, whether you are struggling with anxiety, experiencing overwhelming emotions, managing anger, dealing with grief, navigating significant life transitions, seeking clarity in your relationships, or working on self-confidence. My aim is to offer a safe, empathic, non-judgmental space where you can feel truly heard and understood. Through our work, we will explore your experiences and work toward creating meaningful, positive changes in your life.

Introduction

My name is Rosella, and I am a qualified integrative counsellor.

I work with adults, primary school children, teenagers, couples, and families in a range of settings. My experience includes working in organisations such as the Sutton Women’s Centre, where I supported women experiencing domestic abuse, and Place2Be, a national charity providing mental health support in schools. In my practice, I have worked with people experiencing a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, panic attacks, difficulties managing anger, domestic and sexual abuse, self-harming behaviours, relationship difficulties, grief, loss, low self-confidence, low self-esteem and more.  This diverse experience has equipped me with the skills to support individuals through different stages of life, offering tailored support based on each person’s unique needs.

Additionally, my background in the corporate travel industry – spanning various roles and international experiences – brings a heightened empathy for mental health issues in the workplace, such as stress, anxiety, depression, conflicts, work fatigue, burnout, performance pressure, bullying, harassment, and other related challenges.

Having lived and worked in different countries with people from diverse cultural backgrounds, I offer a multicultural perspective to my practice. This experience has deepened my understanding of issues related to identity, belonging, and cultural adjustment, enabling me to offer inclusive and culturally sensitive therapy. I recognise how cultural and societal influences shape a person’s sense of self, and I believe this understanding is essential in promoting personal growth, emotional healing, and greater self-awareness.

As a former volleyball player and a passionate practitioner of swimming and yoga, my life revolves around staying active and embracing a healthy lifestyle. I believe exercise is a powerful way to build self-confidence, compassion, and resilience while fostering the connection between mind and body. These experiences inspire my holistic approach to well-being, helping others find balance, self-awareness, and harmony in their lives.

Whether I’m working with adults or children, my focus remains on creating a therapeutic environment where each person feels respected, understood, and empowered to grow. Together, we will work to create lasting, positive change.
